What this site records when you use it, why, and how to ask us about it.

What we keep about you
When you create an account or send a request, we keep what you give us: your name, work email, company, delivery details, the parts and quantities you ask for, and any files you attach. Support messages stay with the request or account they belong to.
Visit analytics
We record page views, product views and request-start events. Each event can include its type, traffic channel, landing page, referrer, UTM campaign tags, a product SKU, and a country when the event supplies one. Each visit has a random session key. Search events do not store the search term, and visit records do not store your IP address.
Cookies and browser storage
Signing in sets a session cookie. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, marked Secure on the live site, and lasts 30 minutes. When staff turn on test mode, a separate cookie lasts two hours. Your request draft stays in this browser until you send it or clear it.
Security
Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Staff sign in with a one-time code from an authenticator app. Rate limits use a hashed form of your network address.
Who handles the data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which stores the site data. Notices about quotes, orders and support go out through an email delivery service. We share data only with the providers that run the site and send these notices, or where the law requires it.
Online payment
This site does not take card payments online. Payment terms and methods are agreed with each buyer and written on the quote. If online payment is switched on later, a payment provider would handle card details and this notice would be updated.
How long we keep it
We keep records for as long as an account, quote or order needs them, and for any period the law requires. The operator sets specific periods. Ask us if you need them.
Your requests
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account, subject to records we must keep. Send the request through the support form, and we will reply there.
